Restorative Justice as an Option for Resolving Disputes in E-Commerce Legal Cases

Abstract

The rapid development of science and technology is greatly influenced by information technology. Information technology1 at the beginning of the twenty-first century has caused information to move rapidly. Information flows from one location to another without being limited by the distance between the locations themselves. The development of this kind of information and communication technology has also caused world relations to become borderless and caused significant social, economic and cultural changes to take place so quickly. Not only that, its utilization has expanded so that it enters almost all aspects of life. Included in today's trading life many use electronic transactions. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach, namely the normative method. through library research. In order for Restorative Justice to run smoothly, socialization is needed to the community and various parties so that more and more people use this RJ, so that the judicial process is faster, simpler and in the end can create order and security in society. The aim a purpose of this study is to elaborate about restorative justice could be elected for solve the law matter conflict on e-commerce.
